Central Shipping operates a number of shallow-draught vessels
specifically designed to safely navigate the coastal and riverine
waters of Papua New Guinea. Our crews are well trained and
professional, and our rates highly competitive.
We providing regular sea transport services operating on both
the North and South Coast of Papua New Guinea, including
routes between Port Moresby and Balimo / Kiunga in the South,
and between Madang and the Ramu and Sepik Rivers.
Together with a number of utility pontoons and timber barges,
our shallow-draught vessels include:
Emily 1: 300t Front Loading Barge
The Emily generally operates between Port Moresby and
Balimo/Kiunga and is available for hire for a range of freight and
transport services.
Georgina: 500t Front Loading Barge
In 2009 the recently commissioned Georgina will service South
Coast routes, and the Emily will service the North Coast between Madang ans the Ramu and Sepik Rivers.
