Currently Baimuru Fisheries is trading from its base at Baimuru Station where local fishermen bring in their fresh catch of the day for weighing, grading and processing by the experienced fisheries staff. A variety of catch are purchased but the more common include Barramundi, Black Bass, Salmon, Golden Bream, White Reef Fish, Mangrove Jack, Groper.
Prawns are also purchased with a range of Tiger and Banana prawns. Headless prawns or whole prawns or prawn meat.
We can arrange for whole fish of various sizes. Barramundi and Black Bass are the most popular for restaurants.
The processing also results in a steady supply of fish wings and fish flaps. These are fresh and ideal for food bars around PNG.
